Advocacy Against Gender-Based Violence

Violence has no place in our communities. We raise awareness, promote prevention, amplify survivors voices, and advocate for stronger protection of women and girls while encouraging communities to stand against abuse in all its forms.

Gender-based violence harms individuals, families and entire communities. Effective prevention requires more than awareness alone; it requires informed communities, trusted reporting pathways and a shared commitment to dignity, safety and accountability.

Prevention through community action

This program raises awareness about the forms and consequences of violence while challenging attitudes that allow abuse to continue. We engage women, girls, families and community stakeholders in conversations about prevention, consent, protection and responsible intervention.

We amplify survivor-centred messages and promote access to appropriate health, legal, psychosocial and protection services. Our approach avoids placing responsibility on survivors and instead encourages communities and institutions to take an active role in preventing harm.

Safer and more responsive communities

The program seeks to improve understanding, reduce stigma and strengthen community confidence to respond safely when violence occurs. We advocate for systems that listen to survivors, protect confidentiality and uphold the rights of women and girls.
