About us

Namuyimbwa Women Development Initiative Uganda Limited is a women-led nonprofit organization committed to transforming the lives of women and girls across Uganda through compassion, empowerment, and community action.

We understand that many women face difficult realities including domestic violence, sexual abuse, poverty, emotional trauma, early marriage, discrimination, unemployment, and social exclusion. These challenges often leave lasting emotional, social, and economic scars.

Our response is simple yet powerful—we create safe spaces where women are heard, supported, equipped, and empowered to rebuild their lives with confidence.

Through mentorship, healing programs, education, advocacy, leadership training, and economic empowerment initiatives, we help women rediscover their strength and unlock their full potential.

We believe every woman has value, every story matters, and every life can be transformed.
